The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the correction window for UGC-NET online applications, available from November 1 to November 3, 2023. Registered candidates are advised to visit the website, verify their details, and make corrections as needed, following Annexure 1.
Candidates who have Aadhar-verified details cannot modify mobile numbers, email addresses, permanent, and correspondence addresses, as well as the candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, and photo. Changes are allowed only for the father’s or mother’s name.
For those who haven’t used Aadhar for verification, modifications can be made to their name, father’s/mother’s name. The UGC-NET exam is scheduled from December 6 to December 22, 2023. Exam center details will be announced in the last week of November, with admit cards available for download in the first week of December.
NTA conducts UGC-NET to assess eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ roles in Indian universities and colleges. The December 2023 exam covers 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, and candidates must apply online, as no other modes will be accepted.
