The registration for the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2024) has commenced today (July 1) under the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Those who intend to apply for the law entrance exam can submit their applications on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The registration window will remain open until November 3, providing ample time for interested candidates to complete the process.
CLAT 2024 Registration: Steps to apply
Here are the steps to follow for CLAT 2024 registration:
1. Go to the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2. Click on the ‘Register’ button located at the bottom of the login window on the homepage.
3. Provide the necessary details to complete the registration process, and then log in.
4. Fill out the registration form with the required information, upload the necessary images, and submit the form.
5. After submitting the form, save it for future reference.
For CLAT UG 2024, there will be 120 questions instead of the previous 150 questions. The exam duration remains the same, with candidates having two hours to complete the test. The 120 questions will be divided into five sections: English Language, Current Affairs Including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. There are no changes in the syllabus or the number of questions for CLAT PG 2024.
CLAT 2024 is the entrance exam for admissions to the five-year integrated LLB and LLM programs at participating universities, which will begin in the academic year 2024-2025.
